Rugby for Life aims to achieve 200+ into employment this year as one of our targets by engaging with our Business economy, in the first instance.

We would like to encourage and invite businesses in Whangarei and Northland to engage in this Pop-up recruitment shop being held in The Strand Arcade in Whangarei CBD.

If you currently have any employment opportunities available, this could be a great opportunity to recruit.

Each week is dedicated to a different industry. See below:

JobLab is a collaboration between the Northland Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Social Development and is produced by AwhiWorld and Snap Events.
 
The project focuses on activating the Whangarei CBD while showcasing employers and employment opportunities within the region.
 
JobLab is a FREE opportunity to get your business in front of thousands of job seekers as they look at the businesses, career pathways, industries and if appropriate existing jobs which are on offer.

JobLab will run from 3-28 February, and is located in The Strand, Whangarei. Three separate spaces are being utilised which include an expo space, seminar space and interview space (more on this below).
 
Each week the focus will be on a different theme - however if your business falls outside these industries there is still space for you!
 
Week 1
3-7 February, 2020 Focus on retail, hospitality, administration, aged care 
 
Week 2
10-14 February, 2020 Focus on NZ Services 
 
Week 3
17-21 February, 2020 Focus on civil construction and trades 
 
Week 4
24-28 February, 2020 Focus on horticulture and silviculture
